SKY express Welcomes 11th Airbus A320neo, Reinforcing the Youngest Fleet in Greece

SKY express continues to strengthen its fleet with the addition of a new Airbus A320neo, a modern aircraft that combines state-of-the-art technology, high performance, and a significantly reduced environmental footprint. This marks the airline’s 11th A320neo and 28th aircraft overall, underscoring its consistent growth strategy.

At the same time, SKY express maintains the youngest aircraft fleet in Greece, with an average age of just 4.5 years for its A320neo fleet and 2.7 years for the ATR 72 600, continuously enhancing the passenger travel experience.

The new aircraft features modern seats with integrated USB ports, significantly reduced cabin noise levels, and state-of-the-art CFM LEAP-1A engines that offer lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions. This confirms the company’s commitment to investing exclusively in technologically advanced aircraft to support its continuously expanding network.

The selection of next-generation engines is a deliberate strategic decision by SKY express to integrate technologies that significantly reduce emissions and noise, while also enhancing flight performance and reliability. It is worth noting that SKY express is the only Greek airline operating with this type of engine, remaining true to its commitment to technological excellence and environmental responsibility.

Recently, the airline announced five new international routes—demonstrating its dynamic growth. The network now includes 26 international and 33 domestic destinations, making SKY express the Greek carrier with the most extensive domestic reach.

By autumn 2025, another Airbus A320neo is expected to join the fleet, bringing the total to 29 aircraft—a further boost to its capacity and reach.
