What are the new destinations added to the SKY express network?
In 2025, SKY express is adding 4 new destinations and 6 new direct routes in its international flights network. The new destinations added by SKY express are Berlin (BER), Hamburg (HAM), Madrid (MAD) and Lisbon (LIS). Additionally, two new direct routes are added in SKY express yearly schedule, increasing available seats to Lyon (LYS) and Dusseldorf (DUS). The two new routes are Athens-Lyon (ATH-LYS) and Thessaloniki-Dusseldorf (SKG-DUS).
When do flights to the new destinations begin?
SKY express's flights to new destinations will begin in late October 2025, adding new routes in its winter flight schedule.
In detail:
- Flights from Athens to Berlin begin in 16th October 2025.
- Flights from Athens to Hamburg begin in 24th October 2025.
- Flights from Athens to Lisbon begin in 24th October 2025.
- Flights from Athens to Madrid begin in 24th October 2025.
Additionally, the two new international routes will start operating as listed:
- Flights from Thessaloniki to Dusseldorf begin in 5th November 2025.
- Flights from Athens to Lyon begin in 15th December 2025.
How often will SKY express fly to the new destinations?
SKY express will fly multiple days on weekly basis towards its new destinations, increasing significantly its available seats on international level. More specifically:
- Flights from Athens to Berlin will operate 4 times per week, every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday (starting from 16 October 2025).
- Flights from Athens to Hamburg will operate 3 times per week, every Monday, Friday and Sunday (starting from 24 October 2025).
- Flights from Athens to Lisbon will operate 3 times per week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (starting from 24 October 2025).
- Flights from Athens to Madrid will operate 5 times per week, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday (starting from 24 October 2025).
Additionally, about the two new international routes to Lyon and Dusseldorf:
- Flights from Thessaloniki to Dusseldorf will operate 3 times per week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (starting from 5 November 2025).
- Flights from Athens to Lyon will operate 2 times per week, every Monday and Friday (starting from 15 December 2025).
What flight numbers will SKY express use for its new destinations?
SKY express flight numbers are a combination of the airline's official code (GQ) and a set of numbers. These flight numbers are unique identifiers for every flight operated by SKY express, and they are used by passengers to identify and track specific flights in online travel systems, airports and documents.
For its new routes, SKY express will use a dedicated range of flight numbers that passengers can use for a better flight experience.

What type of aircraft does SKY express use on its new routes?
All flights to new destinations - Berlin, Hamburg, Lisbon and Madrid - as well as the new international routes Athens-Lyon and Thessaloniki-Dusseldorf will be operated by SKY express' new Airbus A320neo aircraft.
