SKY express awarded “Airline of the Year” in Europe by the European Regions Airline Association (ERA)

SKY express, the Greek air carrier, has been named “Airline of the Year", receiving the highest distinction from the European Regions Airline Association (ERA), bringing Greece to the forefront of the European aviation map.

This is a top-level recognition that confirms the company’s remarkable trajectory of growth and extroversion, based on strong financial performance, continuous expansion of connectivity, innovation in operational functions, and a steadfast commitment to sustainability.

In addition, the company was also honored with the “Regional Connectivity Airline” award, recognizing its contribution to connecting local communities in Greece with Europe. This accolade highlights SKY express’s consistent mission to unite more destinations and people, while simultaneously fostering economic and tourism development across every corner of the country.

The award ceremony took place in Estoril, Portugal, where SKY express stood out and captured the attention of the European aviation community. The event was attended by leading figures of the industry and representatives of aviation institutions. Representing SKY express were the company’s owner, Mr. Ioannis Grylos, who received the “Airline of the Year” award, along with a team of executives.
