SKY express partners with the European Youth Card, offering up to 15% discount on tickets to Greece and abroad

SKY express announces its new partnership with the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM) and the European Youth Card (EYCA), offering exclusive benefits to cardholders.

Under the partnership, young people aged 13 to 30 will be able to benefit from a 10% discount on SKY express domestic tickets and 15% on international tickets, gaining easier access to travel experiences. The initiative supports youth mobility and facilitates participation in educational, cultural and social activities, offering more opportunities for exploration, learning and connection.

SKY express, named Airline of the Year 2025 in Europe (ERAA), operates the largest network in Greece with 33 destinations, while continuing to strengthen its international network, which now numbers 27 destinations, bringing the total to 60 destinations.

Mr. Ioannis Grylos, Owner of SKY express, stated: “At SKY express, we believe that travel creates opportunities, and that every young person deserves access to them. We are particularly pleased to become the first Greek airline to partner with the European Youth Card, helping make travel, both domestically and internationally, more accessible for the younger generation. Because every journey can be the starting point for an important next step: studies, a professional opportunity, a new collaboration or the beginning of a new path. The ability to travel easily and affordably can make all the difference, because every young person who travels comes back with something more, for themselves and for their community. For us, this partnership represents a meaningful investment in the younger generation, in their ambitions and in the opportunities, they deserve to have.

The Minister of Social Cohesion and the Family, Domna Michailidou, stated:

With the European Youth Card, we support everything that opens doors and creates prospects for the younger generation: mobility, education, culture, sport and tourism. The new partnership with SKY express, offering a discount of up to 15% on airfares, reduces the cost of travel and gives young people more opportunities to travel within Greece and abroad for studies, activities, cultural experiences and new adventures.

It is particularly significant that, for the first time, the European Youth Card is partnering with an airline. We continue to expand the Card’s network of benefits, so that young people aged 13 to 30 have more opportunities to travel, participate, learn and grow. Support for the younger generation must be visible in practice, through benefits that lower costs and make it easier to access experiences, opportunities and new destinations.

Statement by the President of INEDIVIM, Anna Rokofyllou:

We are particularly pleased about the partnership between the European Youth Card and SKY express, a modern Greek airline that invests in connectivity and in the quality of the travel experience. For the first time, INEDIVIM has secured, through the European Youth Card, a partnership with an airline, offering young people a meaningful benefit that enhances their mobility and their access to new experiences and opportunities.

This new initiative marks an important step in the further development of the European Youth Card’s network of benefits and confirms our commitment to creating initiatives with a real impact on the daily lives of the younger generation, giving them more opportunities to travel, explore and take an active part in contemporary social and cultural life.

The partnership with the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM) and the European Youth Card reflects SKY express’s strategy of strengthening young people’s access to more experiences and travel opportunities.
