SKY express honors the Hellenic Air Force Day once again
AnnouncementNov 13, 2025For yet another year, SKY express participated in a unique aerial spectacle presented in the Greek skies by the Hellenic Air Force, as part of the celebration honoring its Patron, Archangel Michael, on Sunday, November 9, at the Flisvos beach in Palaio Faliro.
With a sense of pride, SKY express opened the airshow on behalf of Civil Aviation with a state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo. The aircraft’s crew performed an impressive low-altitude flypast, executing a distinctive wing manoeuvre to pay tribute to the Hellenic Air Force and the audience present.
Representing the company, the owner of SKY express, Mr. Ioannis Grylos, attended the event along with company executives.
SKY express actively supports the Hellenic Air Force, which ensures the safety of our national airspace on a daily basis. In this context, the airline played a significant role in organizing and executing this year’s spectacular event, demonstrating its unwavering support for the Armed Forces.
At the same time, the airline sponsored air transportation for high school students from the remote areas of Didymoteicho and Anogeia, who were invited by the Hellenic Air Force to a three-day series of remarkable events. Through this support, SKY express stands by education and provides the younger generation with the opportunity to get to know up close the “unsung” heroes of our country, the pilots who keep us safe every day while also fostering their interest in aviation.
