From Abu Dhabi to the Greek Islands

On July 10, SKY express and Etihad Airways signed a codeshare agreement, further strengthening their existing strategic partnership. Etihad, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and one of the world’s leading carriers, is significantly expanding its presence across the Greek islands and Eastern Europe through this agreement.

Specifically, Etihad passengers now have access to 24 popular Greek destinations, including Crete, Mykonos, Santorini, Milos, and more as well as to cities in Eastern Europe via Athens, broadening their travel options.

This collaboration enhances connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Greece, positioning Athens as a strategic hub within Etihad’s European network and making access to the Greek islands and other popular Mediterranean destinations easier than ever.

The codeshare agreement allows passengers to book connecting flights with streamlined check-in processes and automatic baggage transfers to their final destination. Customers can book the enhanced Greek network through etihad.com, the Etihad app, or travel agencies.

This marks a new chapter in the cooperation between the two airlines and is a clear recognition of SKY express’s growing strength by a leading global carrier.

As SKY express continues to grow and strengthen its international presence, this partnership reaffirms its operational readiness and reliability in the aviation sector. It also highlights the airline’s ongoing commitment to promoting Greek tourism and expanding its global partnerships.
