It was founded in 1986 and is the third largest airline in the country, operating regular and charter flights serving 60 destinations in 25 countries. Air Transat is owned and operated by Transat A.T. It oper-ates with 30 aircraft, is an AirBus operator (with the newest acquisition being A321neo) and carries in addition to individual passengers many groups which visit Europe.
