SKY express connects Crete with the capital of Albania with the new direct Heraklion–Tirana flight

SKY express further strengthens Greece’s connectivity with the Balkan region by adding a new direct route, Heraklion–Tirana, to its network. The route operates twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday throughout the year, using state-of-the-art ATR 72-600 aircraft, ideal for regional connections, with an average fleet age of just 2.8 years.

The airline already successfully serves the Athens–Tirana connection, while the new flight from Heraklion expands travel options and enhances access for the local community of Heraklion to new opportunities for travel and cooperation. At the same time, it promotes cultural and economic relations between Greece and Albania. With this new connection, SKY express reaffirms its strategic role as a carrier that continuously links more and more regions of Greece with important destinations in Europe and worldwide, upgrading the country’s connectivity and simultaneously strengthening tourism and the economy.
