SKY express transfers the Holy Light across Greece

For yet another year, SKY express ensured the transportation of the Holy Light to destinations throughout Greece via its scheduled flights.

Arriving on Holy Saturday afternoon at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” on a government flight from Jerusalem, the Holy Light was then distributed across the country through SKY express, reaching Alexandroupoli, Heraklion, Corfu, Chania, Mytilene, Rhodes, and Santorini.

Recognized as “Airline of the Year” for 2025 (ERA), SKY express has supported this meaningful tradition since 2017, contributing to the preservation of Greece’s customs and heritage.
