Frankfurt, one of Germany's largest cities, is a dynamic and sophisticated tourist destination. The enchanting mix of contrasts, from state-of-the-art glass skyscrapers to the beautiful medieval center and the multicultural coexistence of dozens of nationalities, will give you a dreamy travel experience. Frankfurt's ancient history can be seen in its picturesque streets and traditional architecture, reminiscent of the city's past. The old town, with its cobbled streets and historic buildings, creates a charming atmosphere that attracts travelers to discover the city's traditions. At the same time, Frankfurt is also a modern economic hub, which is reflected in the impressive set of buildings of the banking district and the imposing building of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which represent the dynamic economic heart of the city. Of course, we could not omit the rich art collections in museums such as the Städel Museum and the Museum für Moderne Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art) for art and culture lovers. In addition, the city hosts various cultural events, music festivals and theatrical performances that satisfy every taste. If you want to stroll around enjoying parks and gardens, the Palmengarten and Grüneburgpark are some of the places that will offer you relaxation and tranquillity. Overall, Frankfurt is a city that will take you back to the past while you are in the present, offering mixed emotions and experiences through its diverse culture and history.
Frankfurt is one of Germany's most significant and historic cities, emerging in the country's center. Its roots go back to Roman times when the area developed into an important trading hub in the Middle Ages. Over the years, Frankfurt has been a centre of justice and governance, and it is here that the first bank in Europe was founded in the 17th century. In the 19th century, it emerged as a modern city, earning the nickname “Mainhattan” due to its architecture of tall buildings emerging on the banks of the River Main that resembled Manhattan. Despite the devastation of World War II, it is recovering and evolving into a modern hub of culture and technology, thrilling visitors with its diverse character and attractions that make it a destination worth exploring.

It is one of Frankfurt's most iconic buildings. It is a modern skyscraper, 200 meters high, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy spectacular views of the city. From the Main Tower, you can admire the River Main, but also the old town with its medieval buildings. On the top floor of the building, there is a panoramic glass platform, which gives the feeling that you are walking over the city.
The Old Town is the historic heart of Frankfurt and is known for its impressive architecture. Here you will find the Roman Cathedral of Saint Barbara (Frankfurter Dom), an impressive building of the 14th century, as well as the Römerberg Square with the city hall and the coloured medieval buildings.
The Museumsufer district is a cultural gem for the city, with approximately 20 museums along the Main's riverbanks. Among them is the Städel Museum, with an extensive collection of artworks from the 14th century and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMK) in Frankfurt, which hosts artworks by the best-known artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

This is the famous German Frankfurt sausage. It is a traditional food with deep roots in the region and represents the gastronomic heritage of the city and the Rhine region. A delicate and small sausage made from pork meat prepared with various spices and herbs, such as mustard and cardamom. Traditionally, it is boiled and usually served with hard bread and mustard.
Grillbratwurst is made from fresh meat (beef, pork, chicken or a mixture thereof) and spices such as cumin, mustard, paprika, garlic and others, giving a characteristic aromatic character. It is usually grilled or cooked on the barbeque and served inside a bun, while locals enjoy it with ketchup or mustard. Sausages have deep roots in German culture and diet and arose from the need to preserve meat and add aromatic spices.
Grüne Soße is a traditional sauce of the Frankfurt area, made from various green herbs such as mint, green onion, celery, and others. Usually accompanies beef, boiled potatoes or eggs. Grüne Soße is a refreshing sauce, perfect for the summer. Its history is closely linked to the Frankfurt area, as the earliest references date back centuries. It likely arose from the need to utilize local herbs and flavorings to create delicious combinations.
